How We Work With You
Stage 1: Preliminary

Before our first conversation, we ask you to complete a short but detailed questionnaire.
This helps us understand your goals, priorities, budget range, and any inspiration you may already have.
Completing the questionnaire allows our team to:
● Learn more about your plans and expectations
● Carry out initial research relevant to your project
● Prepare for a productive and focused first call
This ensures our time together is efficient and tailored specifically to you.

Once we’ve reviewed your questionnaire, we’ll schedule a Zoom success call with one of our renovation specialists.
This call is designed to:
● Review your questionnaire responses in detail
● Clarify your goals, scope, and priorities
● Discuss feasibility, indicative budgets, and timeframes
● Confirm whether Elevaré Construction is the right fit for your project
This step ensures alignment early and allows us to be well prepared before progressing to an onsite consultation.

We meet with you onsite to walk through your property, assess existing conditions, and talk through your ideas in more detail.
This face-to-face meeting allows us to provide early guidance and identify any potential challenges or opportunities.
Here we will present our Preliminary Stage Proposal.

Our Designer or Architect (along with one of our renovation specialists) will meet onsite to go over the following:
● Your vision and priorities
● Budget expectations
● Timeframes
● Level of finish and functionality
This step ensures everyone is aligned before design work begins.

Based on the agreed brief, we develop concept designs and present them to you.
This may include drawings, layouts, and visual material to help you clearly understand the proposed outcome.
Your feedback is essential, and revisions are made as needed.

We assist you in selecting fixtures, fittings, and finishes.
We can recommend suppliers to visit or add on an option for our interior designer to assist you to make your selections.

Once the design is sufficiently developed, we engage a Quantity Surveyor to prepare a detailed cost estimate.
This provides transparent, independent pricing and allows informed decisions before proceeding.

Following cost approval, detailed working drawings and documentation are prepared.
These drawings form the technical foundation of the build and allow for firmed up pricing, scheduling, and construction.

We present a comprehensive build proposal based on the completed documentation.
This includes:
● Fixed and/or cost plus clearly defined pricing
● Detailed scope to make clear everything that is included in the build
● Inclusions and exclusions
● Planned timeline
At this point, you have a fully developed project and can confidently decide whether to proceed to construction.
Stage 2: Build Contract
(Construction Phase)

Once the Build Contract is signed, construction begins.
You will have a dedicated point of contact who manages your project from start to finish, coordinating trades, materials, and timelines.
We prioritise quality workmanship, clear communication, and tight programme control and weekly updates.

On completion, we conduct a full walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets the agreed scope and standard.
We manage all compliance and provide you with relevant documentation.
Your project is backed by a 10-Year Building Warranty, giving you long-term peace of mind.
We remain available after handover to address any questions or minor matters that may arise.

● You are never paying inflated prices to cover unknowns. We can offer a contingency set aside to help cover for unforeseen costs.
To further protect you, your funds are held in a secured project account, ensuring your money is used only to pay for trades and materials directly related to your renovation.

You will receive a detailed construction programme with your build proposal, clearly outlining each stage of the build.

● Track progress against a live timeline
● Keep you informed throughout the build

If complications arise, our established trade relationships allow us to respond quickly and keep your project moving - protecting your timeline wherever possible.

Peace of mind, long after completion.
We operate a rolling defects list throughout the build so issues are identified and resolved immediately.
Our commitment continues beyond handover:
● Practical Completion and Final Completion Walk Through
● Corrections/defects actioned within one week from Practical Completion
● Follow-ups at 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months to make sure you are continuing to love your renovation.
We don’t disappear once the job is finished - we stand behind our work.

● All communication is streamlined through one primary contact
● If your project contact is unavailable, our Office Staff will respond within 12 hours during business time

With over 12 years of hands-on project management experience, Sam brings deep technical knowledge and calm leadership to every project.
His background spans extensions, new builds, earthworks, alterations, and reclads, giving him a practical understanding of construction at every stage.
Sam has held senior and leadership roles within large construction companies and has also successfully managed his own construction business.
This combination means he understands both the operational realities on site and the bigger-picture requirements of running projects efficiently, safely, and profitably.
He is known for being highly organised, solutions-focused, and able to manage multiple moving parts without losing attention to detail.
